Rory Murphy, OD

Dr. Rory Murphy is a Las Vegas native who is excited to serve his community and dedicated to providing the highest level of care. He brings extensive experience treating a wide range of ocular conditions, with a special interest in dry eye disease. He also emphasizes nutrition and prevention to support long-term ocular health.

Dr. Murphy attended Bonanza High School, earned his B.S. from the University of Nevada, Reno with distinction, and achieved his Doctorate of Optometry from Pacific University in Oregon with honors in 2010. In both his undergraduate and graduate studies, he tutored and served as a teaching assistant for ocular disease, chemistry, calculus, and physics courses.

During optometry school, Dr. Murphy was selected to a highly competitive research team, an experience that strengthened his ability to interpret and apply evidence-based clinical research. He maintains a strong commitment to lifelong learning through avid reading and active involvement in professional societies, keeping his care current with the latest research and treatment options.

Dr. Murphy graduated with distinction from the University of Nevada, Reno and with honors from Pacific University College of Optometry. During optometry school, he was selected to a highly competitive research team, and he served as a tutor and teaching assistant throughout his undergraduate and graduate education.
